Inspired by the rock walls I encountered on a trail in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, Sabbaday Walls is a mixed media piece measuring 16" x 24" x 2" with colors reminiscent of its' layers of granite walls and mossy outcrops. Techniques used in the creation of this piece include a unique mixture of photography, image manipulation, and digital monoprinting. The sides are painted with a dark acrylic, and the surface is sealed with a clear acrylic for protection. Both pieces are wired and ready for hanging.
